No need to go to Mazatlán anymore — Tacos La Carreta brings Sinaloa's award-winning tacos straight to you.
Founded by taquero Jose Morales Jr., Tacos La Carreta started with humble roots — helping his parents cater events and sell tacos from their front yard on weekends. Today, we proudly operate in Long Beach, Santa Ana, and are expanding with two food trucks and a new brick-and-mortar location in Whittier.
Jose perfected his craft working in some of L.A.’s top kitchens, earning a spot on the LA Times' list of the “101 Best Restaurants in L.A.” and winning Taco Madness by L.A. Taco — officially putting Sinaloa-style tacos on the map.
At Tacos La Carreta, we bring you the boldest flavors:
Mesquite-grilled top sirloin, adobada (marinated pork), and perfectly crispy grilled tripas. Paired with top-quality guacamole, fresh salsas made from scratch daily, and our refreshing agua de cebada (barley agua fresca), it’s a true taste of Sinaloa.
